Fifteen grams carries a drawer of socks or underwear, a bedside drawer, a jewellery box. If you are doing a whole chest, buy several of these rather than sizing up — lavender works better spread out than concentrated in one corner.
Dried Grosso buds, grown and packed here. Grosso is the lavandin we cut for drying: higher in camphor than our English lavenders, which is exactly why it is still scenting a drawer next winter when a sweeter cultivar would have given up by Christmas.
When the scent fades, roll it firmly between your hands. It will revive several times before it is genuinely spent.
