Ninety minutes on an outdoor platform with the fields around you, ten people at most, and nothing between the mat and the sky. Laia Han leads it, and it runs on Saturday afternoons at the farm.
One thing to set straight before you book: the main lavender bloom is over. The fields in September are cut and quiet rather than purple. If what you are picturing is yoga in a sea of flowers, that is a June or July class. What you get now is open air, low autumn light and a good deal more space than a studio.
Who is teaching
The sessions are guided by Laia Han, who posts at @laia.colore.tua on Instagram.
Each class is ninety minutes of guided movement and mindful breathing outdoors. You should be physically able to take part in a yoga class. If you are not sure whether it suits you, ask us before booking rather than after.
When it runs
The next class is Saturday, September 26, 2026, running from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM PDT. It is the last September date currently confirmed. The September 13 and 19 sessions have already been and gone.
Dates beyond September are announced on the website as they are confirmed, so check the events page rather than assuming a fixed weekly pattern.
What it costs, and what is included
Tickets are $19.99 for one participant or $29.99 for two. The two-person option admits two guests to the same class.
General admission to Lavenderland is included with a yoga ticket, so you are welcome to spend time in the open areas of the farm and the Gift Shop before or after the session rather than arriving and leaving on the hour.
Each class is capped at ten participants. Book through the website; places go quickly at that size.
What to bring
- A yoga mat. Mats are not provided.
- A reusable water bottle.
- Comfortable yoga or athletic clothing you can move freely in.
- An extra layer. Two o’clock in Richmond in late September can be warm in the sun and cool the moment it goes behind cloud.
Bring everything you need for your own practice. Personal equipment is not supplied with admission.
Children, weather and access
Children can take part with their own ticket and an adult with them throughout. Use your judgement about whether a ninety-minute guided class suits the child you are bringing.
The class is planned for the outdoor platform, which means rain, heat or smoke can affect it. What we do depends on the conditions on the day. If the location, the timing or the format has to change, registered guests are contacted directly, so use an email address and phone number you actually check when you book.
We have accessible facilities on site, but yoga is a physical activity and the full class may not suit every guest. If you have mobility requirements or questions about taking part, get in touch before you reserve a place rather than finding out on the platform.
Finding us
Lavenderland is at 8460 Steveston Highway, Richmond, BC, roughly half an hour from downtown Vancouver. Parking on site is complimentary. Allow enough time to park, check in and get your mat laid out before two o’clock, rather than arriving at 1:58.
Book Saturday
Reserve September 26 through the website while places last, as a single ticket or the two-person option.
Bring your mat and your water, dress for whatever the afternoon is doing, and come and practise outdoors while the farm is at its quietest. If you want to make more of the trip, the workshops and the Gift Shop are open the same day, and this is what else is still going on out here in autumn.
